“I’m originally from London, England. My former coach actually donned me “Chopper”. The name stuck for years and now people call me by that more so than Chi.
I first discovered kickboxing way when I was 14 years old. I was young and very active like most youngsters and came across kickboxing. I also played basketball at that age and ultimately basketball won that battle as it became the sport I would pursue my whole adolescent and young adult life, but kickboxing won the war and here I stand.
I love kickboxing. I always have. I still watch the golden age of the KI grand prix and get excited, despite already the outcome lol. It’s pure, toe to toe combat, It doesn’t get more exciting than this!
I train a minimum 5 days week. On the weekend I’ll still do something even if its cardio. I have to at least do something or I’ll go crazy haha but I push myself extremely hard so I leave no stone unturned”.
